The Top Ten Tea Fragrances
Tea scents, light and ambiguous, are perfect for spring and summer. Cooling and forgiving in warm, sticky atmosphere, tea notes are optimistic. Tea perfumes and colognes are refreshing alternatives to the overtly tropical and ostentatious summer scents. Tea notes, though typically calming, understated and natural, can appear as mere pale complements to other star notes. At other times, tea notes are intense complements to strong, bold fragrances. This fun series of tea perfumes is another great way to welcome warm weather.
Bvlgari Tea Series is a boisterous collection of the light, the bright and the spiced. Bvlgari au The Vert is a citrus scent that is slightly green and lightly smoky. As a full-bodied image of green tea, this perfume has great sillage. Bvlgari au The Blanc is a very clean soapy tea. The bright, yet soft dried tea leaves come across as peppered and slightly tempered with linden. This squeaky clean rendition on brewed tea is a great starter perfume for any tea-newbies. Bvlgari au The Rouge is a bold, beating fragrance that stands out from this tea trio. This scent is a unique mix of hot black tea, sweet citrus, creamy fig and nutty spices. Like a comforting cup of spiced chai tea, this scent offers an invigorating blast.
Green Tea Elizabeth Arden features green tea, light citrus and feminine florals. This scent is all about the light side of green tea. Without the deeper depiction that Bvlgari au The Vert offers, Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea is pale and green. The citrus spark and floral sweetness do well in saving this fragrance from a dull green oblivion. As a result this is a winning feathery tea scent—perfect for those interested in light second-skin perfumes.
Guerlain Homme begins with a youthful boozy blast of lime and mint. Quickly a raw note of natural sugarcane emerges with the tartness of rhubarb and the smokiness of green tea. This is a surprising modern mix—surprising both for the innovative combination and for the youthful turn from Guerlain. The earthy, smoky brew of green tea works as a creamy tenderizer for the mint and lime. Guerlain Homme is innovative and invigorating!
Eclat D’Arpege Lanvin is a faint scent. Like a bare veil of florals, lemon and peach, Eclat D’Arpege is transparent and light. The green tea scent provides a base of paleness, warmth and earthiness. Hidden below the hint of green tea, soft tones of cedar and musk start to emerge. This wistful fragrance makes good use of the dreamy light side of green tea leaves.
Curve Connect Men by Liz Clairborne is a clean tobacco scent. The tobacco leaf tones appear as sweet and dry, while tonka bean notes are warm and spiced. At the top there is a quick hint of lovable citrus. This rich leafy scent is given a pale, dry touch with the addition of tea leaves. This scent wafts between lightly brewed tea and freshly dried tobacco leaves. Earthy and pale, Curve Connect is a great light masculine scent.
Hard Candy for women by Hard Candy is probably the last perfume in which you’d expect to find tea notes. So let’s just get it out there—Hard Candy is like Aquolina Pink Sugar for all the candied sugar hype, and is it also like Lolita Lempicka for the soft sweet creamy character. Often experienced as nutty caramel or candied fruits, Hard Candy actually works because of a grounding smoky note—green tea. The green tea note is pale and musky. It’s like a refreshing sparkling breeze compared to the sticky sweet heart. Hard Candy is like a hot cup of green tea clashes that with an aggressive, but lovable, band of confectionary. For a fun sugar kick, definitely try Hard Candy.
Still Jennifer Lopez is a soft floral perfume that calmly utilizes the tea note to the fullest. This refined, soft floral perfume has a hint of vanilla and musk. But it does not smell old and dated like it should sit among the other 80s perfume stars. It Still has a little modern twist, which is a note of earl grey tea. This perfume is saved from the musty, dusty shelf by a nice splash of bergamot, neroli oil and a slight hint of pale tea. As a result, Still is contemporary, soft and lovable.
Tokyo by Kenzo opens as a spicy bright citrus cologne. The sparkling opening of ginger and grapefruit leads us to believe that this could be just another typical citrus-and-spice cologne. However the scent quickly turns to add an interesting level. A boldly brewed green tea scent appears as sweet, herbal, grassy, smoky and dusty. It’s a true matcha green tea scent. Next to the bright and tangy grapefruit, the matcha is a warming relief. For an interesting combination of notes, try Tokyo by Kenzo.
Burberry The Beat is a bright and light floral transcribed over a pretty and pale base. One on side, this perfume features pretty florals—iris and bluebells. On another side, this perfume proudly displays a soft, clean base of tea. With an added youthful kick of citrus, the smoky pale tea is a quiet complement to the lovable florals. In the end, the mix of pretty and pale creates an undeniably upbeat perfume. Faint and feathery, this dry, calm floral uses tea notes to achieve a modern and young feel.
Armani Code perfume review
Armani Code is a fresh, sultry fragrance bursting with a healthy dose of orange-ginger notes that captivate and tickle the scent palate. Introduced in the spring of 2006, this lovely feminine scent has just the right amount of oomph that seduces with its unique floral-oriental combination. The radiant opening features zesty blood orange, ginger spice and pear sorbet. The heart, with all its subtlety and sweetness, brings out an air of fragrant florals of sambac jasmine. The base fades into a delicious trail of vanilla, lavender honey and precious woods complex.
Oranges fills the head notes giving the scent its citrusy aroma but after a while the orange blossoms fades and smoothly levels off with vanilla and honey. It’s powdery on the dry down but in an elegant kind of way. Armani Code is a borderline gourmand-floral fragrance. The scrumptious, milk-chocolate aroma is attributed to the warm honey’ed vanilla musk accords.
The distinct sweetness is reminiscent of Hugo Boss Deep Red, a similar fragrance that also falls under this scent category. The oriental base, on the other hand, is similar to the oriental sweetness of Sacre Bleu sans the maturity and smoky incense dry down. One perfume reviewer quipped,” I think that Code was an attempt to be all things to all people, and instead it is a little too sweet for mature women and a little too oriental for young women.” In addition, another perfume reviewer thought that despite Armani Code’s dignified feminine scent the fragrance typifies the usual mainstream floral based perfume: it could get pretty boring with constant use. Further, he commented, “Armani Code doesn’t offer adventure, but it smells lovely and pure. If this is Armani’s code, then I am all about him. Also, it is a much better creation then 90% of what the company has put out all these years. At least, it does not copy anything out there – not all that much at the very least.”Armani Code doesn’t offer adventure, but it smells lovely and pure. Giorgio Armani’s fragrances like his fashion clothing line boast a collection of classic and luxe scents making the brand one of the most admired signature labels in the perfume industry.
Prada Amber Pour Homme fragrance review
Created with a rich base of amber, Prada Amber Pour Homme is a sensual, masculine scent that draws a playful contrast with four basic accords: amber, fougere, cologne and leather. The top notes of mandarin, cardamom and bergamot conveys a classic ambiance while the oriental elements radiate comforting warmth that calms. The base culminates with a sleek finish of leathery notes of vetiver, neroli saffron and suede. Notice the fleeting fruity opening followed by a sweet Tonka-vanilla heart with hints of light patchouli. The light powdery touches of base notes infuse a mild sweet-like scent, not too sweet because every note is well restrained. This scent is elegant and masculine in a gentle kind of way.
Prada Amber is not the type of pour homme fragrance that overwhelms. The silliage is not heavy and certainly, does not announce itself in the crowd. It is meant for intimacy and closeness. There is a distinct soapiness but the kind of luxurious soap imaginable like those sold in high-end shops in Italy. One loyal Prada Amber gushed, “This scent is a tease. It doesn’t command attention. It’s too subtle to do that. Instead it begs for attention. It captivates your interest with it’s promising notes, drawing you in closer to get better acquainted, but never giving up all it’s secrets completely all at once. Addictive. It has an alluring sexiness to it.”
And yet another user who can’t get enough of Prada Amber, “It’s very hard to identify the individual notes in this fragrance, and yes it does have a synthetic feel if over-applied. And yes it definitely smells like soap, but the kind of soap you would find in hotel rooms costing more than $1000 a night… this has been one of my mainstays for quite awhile… the sillage is amazing, the opening to dry down is tightly knit, and you never get the feeling that you smell like the other three guys in the elevator… this is a tremendously light and powdery fragrance, so if you are a lover of woods or deeper scents you will hate this… all in all a extraordinary Prada fragrance to go with my great Prada shoes.”
Prada Amber Pour Homme is one of the most intriguing fragrances from the Italian perfumery house. The ingredients are masterfully balanced and harmonized resulting to a unique fragrance like no other — notably soapy, fragrant and long-lasting. The scent drifts throughout the full day leaving you with clean waves of luxurious scents.

Sticking With The Classics
One of the best options you can if to avoid issues with perfume that doesn’t suit you is to stick with perfumes you have previously purchased and know will be suited to you. By doing this you will have comfort in knowing that it will certainly be what you need. If however you will be buying the discount perfume for someone else as a gift, then you should also buy something that you know the recipient already wears. Say for example your aunt wears Eternity by Calvin Klein then it would probably be best if you stuck to buying the same discount perfume rather than trying to get her something else that perhaps would not be suited to her.
Look At The Fragrance Notes
Another way to ensure a discount perfume will suit you when purchasing online is to look at the fragrance notes. The first step is to see what fragrance notes your favorites contain, which will give you a better idea of what suits you. For example, some people suit fruity fragrance notes while others smell great when they wear spicy Orientals. Next look for discount perfumes that contain some of the same fragrance notes as your tried and tested favorites. It will also be helpful if you have an idea of the fragrance notes that do not smell nice on you and avoid any discount perfumes that contain them. For example, if by trail and error you’ve discovered that you don’t suit the fragrance note geranium then you should avoid fragrances like Cinnabar or Aliage by Estee Lauder.
Stay Away From Being The Sheep
Popular is good, but not always and especially in the case of discount perfumes. The latest trendy fragrance may not necessarily be the best for you even if it is extremely popular. Even if everybody is wearing the latest, it doesn’t mean you should because it may not suit you at all. You will need to know exactly what is suited to you, know your own body and get only the fragrance that reflects your personality. The best way to determine if a new fragrance really suits you is to drop by the nearest department store and test the fragrance there to see if it is for you, this way you do not waste your money buying a discount perfume that you would never wear.

The Daring and Sexy Fendi Perfume
The Fendi line, known for baguette bags, furs and Fendi perfume fragrances, was founded by Adele Casagrande in 1918 as a leather and fur store in Rome, and was renamed when she married Edoardo Fendi. As the Fendi’s became more successful, the family connection also incorporated their five daughters: Paola, Carla, Anna, Franca and Alda.
In 1965, the Fendis merged with Karl Lagerfeld, who is credited for designing the famous “FF” status system and their first fur collections. Fendi recently merged with Prada and Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy.
I’m stuck on checking out perfumes when I go off to a mall or some nearby boutique. Now let me tell you a story about my favorite fragrance Fendi perfume by Fendi. It was produced by Fendi in 1985 and is recommended for romantic wear. This feminine fragrance possesses a mix of leather, rose, sandalwood, amber and musk.
I used to always pass by this fragrance when going to the mall and never trying it for some reason, but the other day I decided to try it out not really expecting anything, as I was shopping i thought oh well nothing special, too strong, but by the end of the night I had fallen madly in love with it, my son commented on it (which is unusual for him) my hubby said mmmm you smell good, my neighbor said that’s a nice perfume, even my dog Sasha started sniffing me all day, wow. Fendi pefume by Fendithis is one beautiful fragrance, not masculine smelling to me, very addictive, also one spray lasted all day and I decided that this was going to be my next purchase. As a matter of fact I have been wearing it ever since. LOVE IT!
Fendi perfume by Fendi is a bold, warm, strong, smokey, leathery, somewhat masculine scent. One of the most masculine ladies perfumes I have ever tried. The Fendi pure perfume is the best way to try this scent, it lasts without end, and the bottle is attractive.
Fendi perfume by Fendi is a fragrance which is bold and sexy and signifies a real woman. Not many will like this but who cares I do. If you like it you like it and you wear it. If you don’t love it then you wear what you enjoy.
I even gave a bottle of Fendi perfume to A colleague at work and when she wore this she said it smelled delicious on her. She smelled so sophisticated that her hubby too said mmmm this smells good.
